There was an old woman
who couldn't find her shoes.
She thought she had put them
behind her old clues.
But try as she might
and try as she would
the clues had left her
as to where her shoes stood.
This old woman really did get a clue
when she found her mood was so blue.
With the shoes and the clues
it sure brought out the blues
and it put her in a funk
that she didn't know how to renew.
